KTR Approaches Supreme Court in Formula E Car Race Case

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has approached the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana High Court's ruling regarding the Formula E car race case. The High Court had dismissed KTR's petition to quash the ACB case, which he had filed in connection with the race. The court had also made it clear that they would not interfere with the ACB's investigation. During the proceedings, KTR's legal team had sought protection from arrest, but the court did not consider this request.

In light of the latest developments, officials from the ACB office held a meeting to discuss strategies moving forward. They deliberated on the involvement of officials from the EFO, HDDA, and the revenue department. The officials also discussed the companies that had deviated after the first race, and the next steps in light of KTR's decision to approach the Supreme Court.

Furthermore, the Telangana government filed a caveat petition in the Supreme Court, ensuring that its arguments will be heard in the case.
