CM Revanth Reddy Requests PM Modi's Support for Metro Expansion and Other Key Projects in Telangana
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for assistance in expanding the Metro rail network in the state. Speaking at the virtual inauguration of the Cherlapalli Railway Terminal on Monday, CM Revanth expressed his confidence that with the central government's cooperation, Telangana could achieve its goal of becoming a trillion-dollar economy.
The Chief Minister extended his congratulations to PM Modi for the inauguration of the Cherlapalli Terminal and also made several key requests. He urged Modi to provide support for the construction of a dry port in the state, which would enhance Telangana’s logistics and trade capabilities. Additionally, Revanth Reddy requested the central government's assistance in the construction of the RRR (Regional Ring Road), which is crucial for improving the state's infrastructure.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the new Cherlapalli Terminal virtually from Delhi, marking an important development for Telangana's transportation sector. The CM’s requests highlight his focus on strengthening Telangana's economic and infrastructural development with the central government’s support.
