Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka responded strongly to the controversial remarks made by a BJP leader about Congress leader and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he condemned the comments made by the BJP leader, calling them outrageous. Bhatti demanded that the BJP leadership apologize to the nation for the inappropriate statements.
He emphasized that the BJP should be ashamed of such behavior and criticized their actions as an attack on India's cultural values. Bhatti also highlighted that the comments were disrespectful and unacceptable, particularly considering the stature of Priyanka Gandhi as a public figure.
This controversy arose when BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri made inappropriate remarks during the Delhi Assembly elections campaign. Referring to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Bidhuri, while contesting from the Kalkaji constituency, made disparaging comments, saying that if he won, he would turn the local roads into "Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's cheeks," which sparked widespread outrage.
