Maheshwar Reddy on BJP Office Attack: PCC Chief Should Take Responsibility
BJP Legislative Party Leader Maheshwar Reddy condemned the violent attack on the BJP office by Congress youth leaders in response to comments made about Priyanka Gandhi. He accused the Congress of sending goons to the BJP office to carry out the attack, stating that the party activists' heads were smashed during the incident. He raised serious questions about the state's law and order, asking whether there is any functioning government in Telangana, and what the Chief Minister intends to do about such an incident.
Reddy further stated that the Telangana PCC Chief, Mahesh Kumar Goud, should take responsibility for the attack and demanded his resignation. He also questioned the role of the Home Minister and whether the Chief Minister will take action against Goud for this act.
In relation to KTR, Reddy accused him of having influence over officials and allegedly intimidating them. He asserted that if KTR is innocent, he should stand firm and confront the accusations, bringing the truth to light. Reddy also pointed out that many illegal activities took place under the previous government, implying that KTR should address these matters openly.
