A pregnant woman reportedly delivered her baby inside an ambulance while being shifted to another hospital after alleged denial of emergency medical care at Vanasthalipuram Government Hospital.
According to reports, the woman was taken to the government hospital after she developed labour pains. However, her family members alleged that doctors and medical staff refused to provide emergency treatment, citing the absence of proper medical reports. The family claimed they repeatedly requested the staff to attend to the woman but received no immediate assistance.
With her condition progressing, the family decided to shift her to another hospital in an ambulance. During the journey, the woman went into labour and delivered the baby inside the ambulance.
The incident reportedly left the family distressed and raised concerns over the alleged refusal to provide emergency care. The family urged authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action if negligence is established.
