Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed TDP leaders and alliance representatives to prepare for the upcoming local body elections with a focus on victory. During a teleconference, he urged leaders to take the government’s welfare and development programmes to every household under the slogan “We promised, we are delivering.”
Naidu recalled the public mandate in the 2024 Assembly elections and said the government was prioritising good governance and welfare. He stressed that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP leaders and workers must maintain alliance unity and follow the principle of Mitra Dharma. He also highlighted the importance of coordination between the Centre, state and local bodies to accelerate development.
Acknowledging that seat-sharing arrangements and social equations may leave some leaders without tickets, Naidu assured eligible party workers that their contributions would be recognised through nominated posts in the future. He asked leaders to counter opposition campaigns and work towards achieving high voter turnout at every polling booth.
