Rohit Sharma Equals Record for Most Ducks in IPL

- Rohit Sharma dismissed for a duck against CSK
- Now tied with Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik at 18 ducks
- Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine follow with 16 ducks each
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is in full swing, and in yesterday’s match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Rohit Sharma set an unwanted record. The Mumbai Indians opener was dismissed for a duck, marking his 18th duck in IPL history.
Batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians struggled as Rohit faced four deliveries before being caught by Shivam Dube off Khaleel Ahmed’s bowling. With this dismissal, Rohit now shares the record for most ducks in IPL history with Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik, both of whom have also been dismissed without scoring 18 times.
Following this trio, Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine are next on the list with 16 ducks each. While this statistic is far from flattering, all these players have had impactful IPL careers, contributing significantly to their teams in various matches.
