The Delhi Capitals batter accomplished the feat in just 130 innings during the match against Lucknow Super Giants, setting a new benchmark in the league’s illustrious run charts.
Rahul reached the landmark with a composed, unbeaten half-century (57*) that guided Delhi to a dominant 8-wicket victory. With this knock, he surpassed the previous fastest records held by David Warner (135 innings), Virat Kohli (157), AB de Villiers (161), and Shikhar Dhawan (168).
Currently, Rahul boasts an impressive IPL record — 5,000 runs at an average of 46.35 and a strike rate of 135.70. His tally includes 4 centuries and 40 fifties, while he's fallen for a duck on just four occasions.
