Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has expressed deep shock and grief over the death of two Telugu men in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of J.S. Chandramouli from Visakhapatnam and Madhusudhan from Nellore district, who were among the 28 victims killed in the attack.
Terming the incident “extremely painful,” the Chief Minister said that it is a great loss to the Telugu community and prayed for the souls of the deceased to rest in peace. He conveyed his sympathy and support to the bereaved families, wishing them strength and courage in this difficult time.
“Terrorist acts are a permanent stain on our society. History has shown time and again that terrorism and violence have never achieved any goal,” Chandrababu Naidu remarked. He strongly condemned the barbaric assault on innocent tourists and demanded severe punishment for those responsible for this inhumane act.
Chandrababu reiterated that the Andhra Pradesh government stands firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government in their efforts to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and uphold national security. He affirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to support all decisive steps being taken to combat terrorism.
The Chief Minister concluded by stressing that such atrocities should unite the nation, not divide it, and called for collective resilience against terrorism.
