Hyderabad, Feb 06 : The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) results have been released. Education Secretary Yogita announced the results, revealing that 1,35,802 candidates appeared for the exams conducted from January 2 to 20. Out of these, 42,384 candidates successfully qualified, marking a pass percentage of 31.21%, officials said.
The Telangana TET exam consists of two papers. Candidates aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5 take Paper-1, while those aiming for classes 6 to 8 appear for Paper-2. The marks obtained in TET play a crucial role in the recruitment process for teacher jobs.
In a significant move, the Telangana government has announced that TET will now be conducted annually, ensuring regular opportunities for aspiring teachers.
