Shocking Revelations in Telangana Phone Tapping Case: High Court Judges Targeted
The Telangana phone tapping case continues to unravel new and disturbing details. A recent revelation that Tripura Governor Nallu Indrasena Reddy’s phone had been tapped sent shockwaves across the state.
Now, fresh findings indicate that the phones of two High Court judges, including a female judge, were also under surveillance.
These startling facts emerged during the forensic analysis of a mobile phone belonging to a key accused, who was associated with the Telangana Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) under former Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Prabhakar Rao. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) examination revealed crucial evidence of widespread surveillance.
Investigators found that the accused possessed personal details of the judges, including their photographs, educational background, family information, and professional records. Additionally, their call detail records (CDRs), internet protocol detail records (IPDRs), text messages, internet activity, emails, and VoIP communications were accessed.
Following the Congress government’s formation in Telangana, the controversy erupted, with reports suggesting that several opposition leaders and a High Court judge were under surveillance. The Telangana High Court initiated a suo motu inquiry, and with the latest findings, the case has taken a more serious turn.
