Pregnant Woman Fights Legal Battle for Teacher Post

Adilabad: In a determined fight for justice, an 8-month pregnant woman has taken to legal recourse after being denied her rightful appointment as a teacher. Jyotsna, a resident of Koutala in Adilabad district, had secured a teaching position through the recently announced DSC recruitment with a 1:1 selection ratio. She even received the appointment order directly from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

However, Jyotsna alleged that despite meeting all eligibility criteria, her post was allocated to another candidate ranked 13th. Distraught by this injustice, she filed a case in court while continuing her struggle despite her advanced pregnancy.

Braving physical challenges, she visited the Prajavani program to submit a petition to the district collector, pleading for justice. Jyotsna has urged officials to rectify the situation and ensure her rightful appointment, emphasizing the need for fairness and accountability in recruitment processes.
