Minister Seethakka Criticizes Congress, Defends BC Rights in Telangana

TPN Correspondent

Hyderabad, Feb  06 : Minister Seethakka has strongly criticized the Congress party, particularly Rahul Gandhi, regarding the caste census in Telangana. She described the comprehensive survey conducted by the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) as a significant effort for the welfare of backward classes (BCs), in contrast to Congress’s approach, which she described as merely a "dream" of Rahul Gandhi.

Seethakka mocked Congress for conducting a superficial survey, claiming that it only surveyed ten families a day, while KCR's government completed a far more extensive survey. She accused Congress of trying to divert opportunities meant for BCs. Seethakka pointed out that while BRS allocated 51 percent, her party ensured 56 percent for BCs, highlighting their commitment to the community.

She also criticized those who did not participate in the caste census but now claim to represent BC interests. Referring to opposition leaders as "wolves" who cannot protect the "sheep," she argued that BCs should not trust parties that failed to provide a platform for BC leaders or even disclose their caste. Seethakka accused Congress of spreading misconceptions to undermine BC rights and welfare.
