KTR Slams Revanth Reddy, Calls KCR a "History-Maker" and Revanth a "Lottery Winner"
Hyderabad, Feb 1: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is a history-maker, while Revanth Reddy is nothing more than a lottery winner.
Addressing a gathering, KTR remarked, "If you want to know what it feels like when KCR strikes, ask your former guru (Chandrababu Naidu) and your current guru's mother (Sonia Gandhi). Telangana was achieved only because of KCR’s relentless struggle, and he never needed a stick to stand tall."
He accused Revanth Reddy of governance driven by commissions and challenged him to implement policies without corruption. KTR also slammed the Congress-led state government for failing to fulfill its poll promises, claiming that Revanth Reddy lacks the vision and leadership to govern Telangana effectively.
KTR further criticized the BJP and Congress MPs for failing to secure funds for Telangana in the Union Budget 2025, stating, "Despite having eight MPs each from both parties, they brought back nothing for Telangana. Other states received significant allocations, while Telangana was completely ignored. BJP’s secret deal with Revanth Reddy is evident, as the state has once again received zero funding."
He accused Revanth Reddy of frequently traveling to Delhi, not to secure funds for Telangana, but for his political gains. KTR concluded by asserting that Telangana would only prosper under the leadership of KCR and the BRS.
