Application Deadline for Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Extended till April 14th

Application deadline extended to April 14

Financial assistance for self-employment under various loan categories

Rs. 840 crore allocated for minorities, with a significant focus on Muslim youth

The Telangana government has extended the deadline for filing applications to avail subsidized loans under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme until April 14, as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka during a review meeting on March 31.

The scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to educated youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities for self-employment. Loans are available under four categories, offering subsidies of up to 100% for loans up to Rs 50,000, and lower subsidies for higher loan amounts.

A significant portion of the Rs. 840 crore allocated for the scheme will benefit minority youth, with Rs. 751 crore earmarked specifically for Muslim applicants, based on population estimates.

To simplify the application process, the requirement for a ration card has been removed, and applicants can now submit income certificates for up to Rs 1 lakh.
