YSRCP Announces ‘Fee Struggle’ on February 5, Releases Poster

Amaravati, Jan 30: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has officially released the poster for its upcoming "Fee Struggle" protest scheduled for February 5. The event aims to pressure the Andhra Pradesh government to release ₹3,900 crore in pending fee reimbursement funds.

At the YSRCP headquarters in Tadepalli, former ministers Jogi Ramesh, Ambati Rambabu, and other party leaders unveiled the protest poster.

YSRCP Criticizes Chandrababu Naidu's Government

Speaking at the event, Ambati Rambabu stated:

  • The government is deliberately withholding ₹3,900 crore in fee reimbursement dues, putting students’ futures at risk.
  • Due to this, educational institutions are refusing to issue certificates, forcing many students to take up daily wage jobs.
  • Similar delays occurred during Chandrababu Naidu’s previous tenure (2014-19), but YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cleared the dues after coming to power.
  • Rambabu accused Naidu of consistently neglecting students and assured that YSRCP would stand in support of them.
  • He highlighted growing public dissatisfaction over the past eight months, with many calling Chandrababu a "420" leader.
  • The YSRCP leader warned the government that if the fee reimbursement funds are not released immediately, the protest will intensify.

With the February 5 protest approaching, YSRCP aims to mobilize students and educational institutions to pressurize the Andhra Pradesh government into releasing the pending fee reimbursement funds.
