TDP MLA Gummanuru Jayaram Challenges Media, Warns Against False Allegations
Guntakal, Jan 29: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA and former minister Gummanuru Jayaram has issued a strong challenge to media representatives, accusing them of spreading false allegations against him.
Speaking at an event in Donimukkala, on the outskirts of Guntakal town, he criticized certain media outlets for what he claimed were baseless reports aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
"If they can prove their allegations, let them publish. If they cannot, I will make them lie on the railway tracks," Jayaram warned, making it clear that he would take drastic action against misinformation.
The MLA alleged that some individuals were falsely accusing him of land encroachments and abusing political power in his constituency. He urged such individuals to reconsider their approach and avoid misleading the public.
During his visit, Jayaram inspected a housing layout and interacted with beneficiaries of a government housing scheme. He assured them that all eligible applicants would receive housing plots and encouraged them to report any grievances directly to him.
Amidst his public address, Jayaram reiterated his warning to media outlets, cautioning them against spreading false reports for monetary incentives.
