Nara Lokesh Reacts Strongly to Devotee’s Complaint About Sri Kalahasti Temple
Amaravati, Jan 30: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology and Communications, Nara Lokesh, has reacted strongly to allegations of mismanagement at the Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple in Srikalahasti.
The controversy erupted after a devotee raised concerns about being denied prasadam while waiting in the queue. The devotee took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to voice their frustration, bringing the issue directly to Lokesh’s attention.
Swift Response from Nara Lokesh
Reacting promptly, Lokesh assured devotees that any act hurting religious sentiments would not be tolerated.
"Devotees should be treated with respect, and no one should be denied prasadam. Any violations will be dealt with strictly," he stated.
Allegations Against Temple Staff
The minister also alleged that certain temple staff members were still operating under the influence of policies from the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government. He emphasized that such negligence and mismanagement would not be allowed under the current administration.
Inquiry and Strict Action Assured
Lokesh announced that an immediate inquiry would be conducted into the incident, and strict action would be taken against those responsible.
To ensure prompt resolution, Lokesh also tagged the Endowments Department Minister, urging them to take appropriate measures to address the concerns raised by devotees.
