Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi will be honoured in the British Parliament on March 19 for his outstanding contributions to the arts and society through films spanning over four and a half decades. The recognition comes from Bridge India, a leading UK-based policy think tank, which will present him with its first-ever 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for excellence in public service through cultural leadership.
The event will be attended by British MPs, including Navendu Mishra, Sojan Joseph, and Bob Blackman. The award is a testament to Chiranjeevi’s influence beyond cinema, acknowledging his impact on society.
Bridge India, known for shaping public policy and celebrating global achievers, is honouring Chiranjeevi as its first recipient of this prestigious award. This international recognition adds another milestone to his illustrious career.
Chiranjeevi was conferred with the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, in 2024. He also holds a Guinness World Record for being the most accomplished actor and dancer. Additionally, the Akkineni International Foundation honored him with the A.N.R. National Award during the centenary celebrations of legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao in 2024.
