Grand Rathasaptami Celebrations Held in Tirupati with 2.5 Lakh Devotees
Tirumala, Feb 5: Tirumala, regarded as the Vaikuntha of Kali Yuga, witnessed grand Rathasaptami celebrations, drawing an estimated 2.50 lakh devotees, as per Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Shyamala Rao. The annual festival, dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, was conducted with immense devotion and grandeur.
Devotee-Friendly Arrangements
To ensure the comfort of devotees amid scorching heat, TTD made extensive arrangements along the temple streets. Visitors expressed their satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the event and the facilities provided. For those unable to access the main gallery, LED screens were installed across the temple premises, allowing them to witness the Vahana Seva seamlessly.
Uninterrupted Anna Prasadam Distribution
TTD also ensured uninterrupted free food distribution (Anna Prasadam) for devotees throughout the celebrations. The distribution continued from the beginning of the rituals until the conclusion of the Vahana Seva, ensuring that pilgrims were well taken care of.
With elaborate security and crowd management, the Rathasaptami festival was a grand success, reaffirming Tirumala’s reputation as a spiritual epicenter for millions of devotees.
