AI in Governance: A New Frontier
Chandrababu underlined the importance of integrating technology into governance to achieve a growth rate of 15–20%. He urged all government departments to leverage AI and other advanced technologies to optimize their performance.
Key highlights of the discussion included:
- Collaboration with Google: An MoU has been signed with Google to analyze government data using AI, providing actionable insights for better implementation across departments.
- Real-Time Data Integration: Departments are working to link their data with RTGS, creating a unified database for effective decision-making.
- Unique Village Profiles: A unique digital profile is being developed for every village, based on integrated data.
Citizen-Centric Initiatives
The Chief Minister also revealed plans to introduce WhatsApp Governance Services, allowing citizens to access essential documents such as birth and death certificates directly via WhatsApp. This initiative aims to simplify administrative processes and make governance more accessible to the public.

K. Dinesh Kumar, CEO of RTGS, shared updates on the rapid progress of data integration efforts. He emphasized that the government is working to include citizens whose information is not yet available in official databases, ensuring that no one is left behind in the state’s digital transformation journey.
