Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has become weak after the exit of Mr. Vijayasai Reddy from the party. In Delhi, liaisoning with BJP heads, Union Ministers, and officials had been done by Mr. Vijayasai Reddy until now. With that liaisoning support and his friendship with BJP heads, Vijayasai Reddy is now taking decisions. Virtually, he is in the direction of the BJP—no doubt.
Actually, the present situation demands the presence of Vijayasai Reddy for Jagan. As the cases are mounting and the government is planning to arrest him, and at the same time the party is weakening due to the silence of many prominent leaders, the need for Vijayasai Reddy is significant for Jagan now. But, there is no such chance. To get out of old and new cases, he should at least have connections with the national BJP heads. Otherwise, he will be in big trouble.
As per sources, it is learnt that Mr. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy is going to replace the position of Vijayasai Reddy in the party’s Delhi affairs. As a former Minister for Finance, he had liaised with union ministers, including Union Finance Minister Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman and others. For the purpose of fund allocation to the state, he visited Delhi multiple times. Sometimes, he used to stay at the headquarters for weeks together. Mr. YS Jaganmohan Reddy has decided and assigned Mr. Buggana to take up the responsibility immediately.
We all know that Mr. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy lost his Dhone seat to Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, though he had done a lot of developmental work. He lost due to the overall negativity toward Mr. Jagan and the YSRCP. That is why Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy has also decided to assign key responsibilities to Mr. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. From now onwards, he will take up the Delhi liaisoning work. Moreover, Mr. Buggana is quite well-educated and technically sound regarding all official and legal procedures. But the key point is whether Mr. Buggana can manage things like Mr. Vijayasai Reddy, especially in terms of manipulation—that remains to be seen.
