APTA North Central celebrates Women’s Day and JanaSena’s 11th anniversary

The APTA North Central Women’s Day Celebration turned into a vibrant and unforgettable gathering, bringing together 32 women for an evening filled with joy, camaraderie, and empowerment. The event provided an opportunity for women to take a well-deserved break from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a night dedicated to celebration and recognition.

The venue, adorned with beautiful decorations, set the stage for a delightful experience. Attendees enthusiastically participated in engaging games, confidently walked the ramp, and unleashed their energy on the dance floor. The lively atmosphere, coupled with smiles, music, and shared moments of joy, created an environment of unity and festivity. A lavish spread of food further added to the memorable evening.

In addition to celebrating Women’s Day, the event also marked the 11th anniversary of JanaSena, a movement committed to justice, empowerment, and societal progress. The display of JanaSena Veera Mahila pictures served as a tribute to the strength and contributions of women in shaping communities and driving positive change.

For Reethu Bhogadi, RVP of APTA North Central Region (IL & WI), the celebration was particularly special as it marked the beginning of her tenure for 2025-26 with a women-centric event. She emphasized the importance of women as the foundation of families, communities, and society. “When women are empowered and happy, their strength radiates, fostering growth and harmony everywhere,” she stated.

The dual celebration of Women’s Day and JanaSena’s 11th anniversary stood as a testament to the commitment toward progress, empowerment, and unity. Organizers expressed their enthusiasm for hosting more such events in the future to honor and uplift the women in the community.
