Age Limit Increased for AP Mega DSC Candidates: Now 44 Years for Current Notification

Maximum age limit for Mega DSC candidates increased from 42 to 44 years

Age limit relaxation applicable only for the current Mega DSC notification

July 1, 2024 set as the cutoff date for calculating age

In a significant move, the Andhra Pradesh government has provided much-needed relief to thousands of unemployed candidates waiting for the Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) exam. The government has officially increased the maximum age limit for candidates applying for the current Mega DSC notification, raising it from 42 years to 44 years.

This age limit relaxation, confirmed through official orders, is applicable solely to the ongoing Mega DSC notification and will not extend to future announcements. The government has also set July 1, 2024, as the cutoff date for calculating the age of the candidates, ensuring that some who were previously ineligible due to age restrictions will now have the opportunity to apply for the upcoming exams.

This decision has come as a great relief to those who had missed out on earlier Mega DSC notifications due to the age limit, giving them another chance to pursue their teaching careers in the state. The relaxation is expected to benefit a significant number of candidates who have been waiting for such an opportunity.
