GnG_VxNXEAAw-PhIn a significant move towards enhancing infrastructure and providing better facilities, Amaravati’s villages are undergoing a smart upgrade under the Smart & Sustainable City project. A substantial investment of ₹138.62 crore is being made to establish and upgrade essential services in the region.

As part of the initiative, 14 schools, 14 model anganwadis, and 16 e-health centers are being constructed with modern amenities to cater to the educational, nutritional, and healthcare needs of the local population.

Some of the newly constructed buildings have already been equipped with solar panels, promoting clean energy usage and reducing carbon footprint in line with the sustainable development goals.

Officials expressed optimism that the Smart & Sustainable City project would significantly enhance the quality of life for residents in Amaravati’s villages, providing better healthcare, education, and early childhood care through state-of-the-art facilities.

The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to modernizing infrastructure and ensuring inclusive development across all sections of society.
