Newly elected members of the Telangana Legislative Council were formally sworn in on Monday in a ceremony marked by cross-party presence and celebration. Anji Reddy and Malka Komurayya from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took oath as MLCs, administered by Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy. The swearing-in event saw the presence of Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, MPs Raghunandan Rao, Dr. K. Laxman, and several senior leaders from BJP.

Congress leaders Addanki Dayakar and Vijayashanti also took oath as MLCs. Addanki Dayakar acknowledged the support he received from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud in achieving this role.

Renowned actor-turned-politician Vijayashanti was also administered the oath by the Council Chairman. She was accompanied to the ceremony by Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, signaling strong backing from the Congress leadership.

The induction of these prominent leaders into the Council is being seen as a strategic boost for both BJP and Congress, as political dynamics continue to evolve in the state.
