Ukrainian President Zelensky Discloses Family Income for 2024
Zelensky's family income in 2024: ₹3.15 crore
Income includes government bonds, salary, interest, and rental payments
Wealth increased compared to 2023, but assets remain unchanged
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed his family’s income details for 2024 as part of Ukraine’s mandatory asset disclosure policy for government officials. According to data released by the presidential office, the family income for 2024 was 15,286,193 hryvnias, approximately ₹3.15 crores in Indian currency.
The income breakdown includes ₹1.77 crores (8,585,532 hryvnias) from government sales bonds, with the remainder coming from Zelensky’s salary, bank interest, and rental payments from private real estate. The latest figures indicate a significant rise in income compared to 2023, when Zelensky’s family earned $316,700 (approximately ₹2.7 crores). Reports suggest that the increase is primarily due to rental earnings.
Despite the higher income, there have been no changes in the family’s assets, real estate, or vehicles.
Speculation on social media has previously labeled Zelensky as a billionaire, but Forbes Middle East has clarified that Zelensky's net worth is far below that level. It estimated his wealth at around $20 million when Russia's invasion of Ukraine began in 2022. Zelensky, a former artist and comedian, has seen his financial status fluctuate since assuming office in 2019.
