Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer C.H. Venkateswara Chowdary has directed officials to complete the Sri Venkateswara Museum redevelopment works within the stipulated deadline and prepare it for inauguration.
The museum redevelopment project was launched in August 2023 at an estimated cost of Rs. 145 crore. The initiative aims to offer devotees a world-class museum experience while educating visitors about the rich heritage, traditions and history associated with the Tirumala temple.
Officials have been instructed to ensure that all remaining works are completed on schedule so the facility can be made ready for inauguration. According to reports, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu may inaugurate the revamped museum.
The project is expected to become an important attraction for devotees visiting Tirumala and provide a modern platform to showcase the temple’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
