Four Dead in Major Road Accident at Gangasagaram, Chittoor

Chittoor, Jan 18:
A tragic road accident occurred at Gangasagaram in Chittoor city, resulting in the death of four passengers. A bus traveling from Tirupati to Madurai was struck by a tipper truck on the highway, causing the bus to overturn. The vehicle slid for about 20 feet before crashing into an electric pole at a road construction site.

 

Four passengers died at the scene, while 13 others sustained serious injuries. The injured were quickly transferred to Vellore CMC and Nariv Hospitals for treatment.

The Collector of Chittoor arrived at the government hospital, where he inquired about the accident details and instructed authorities to ensure the injured received the best possible care.
