Traffic Police Deny Social Media Claims of Challan Concessions
TPN , Hyderabad: Telangana traffic authorities have refuted ongoing social media claims suggesting concessions on pending traffic challans. Hyderabad Additional Traffic Commissioner Vishwa Prasad urged citizens not to believe such false propaganda, emphasizing that no such concessions have been announced by the government.
The misleading campaign, which has been circulating on social media for the past few days, claims that the government has reintroduced concessions on pending challans. In response, the traffic police clarified that no such initiative is in place and reiterated their commitment to addressing misinformation.
“If any concessions are announced in the future, the information will be disclosed in advance through official channels,” Additional CP Vishwa Prasad stated. He also warned that strict action would be taken against individuals spreading false propaganda regarding traffic policies.
