In a major boost to skill development initiatives, global tech giant CISCO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) to offer advanced skill training at the upcoming Skill University. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister for IT and Industries Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized the government’s commitment to equipping youth with industry-relevant skills and strengthening Telangana as a hub for technology-driven employment. He lauded CISCO’s role in providing cutting-edge training programs that will enhance job opportunities for students and professionals in the state.
The partnership aims to introduce global-standard training modules in emerging technologies such as networking, cybersecurity, and AI, ensuring that students at Skill University gain hands-on expertise. Officials stated that this initiative would significantly improve employability and attract more investments to Telangana’s growing tech ecosystem.
