Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will set the agenda for Andhra Pradesh’s district administration at the eighth Collectors’ Conference scheduled at the state Secretariat on September 10 and 11. The meeting will focus on economic growth, welfare delivery, governance, investments, water security and law and order.

Naidu will review the implementation of decisions taken at the previous conference, examining district-wise progress, pending matters and reasons for delays. Economic performance, including GSDP, district targets and achievements, will also be assessed.

The implementation of the government’s Super Six welfare schemes, drinking-water projects, housing, employment, health and education programmes will receive attention. Investment proposals, ease of doing business and the Jaladhara water security programme will also be reviewed.

The second day will focus on e-governance, grievance redressal, land administration, centrally sponsored schemes, skilling and employment. Naidu will interact directly with collectors through an Open Forum before concluding with a law-and-order review.
