Chennai Dominates Mumbai, Wins by 4 Wickets

Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings secured a commanding four-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians in their Indian Premier League (IPL) clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai last night. Batting first, Mumbai struggled to put up a competitive total, managing only 155/9 in their allotted 20 overs.

Chennai chased down the 156-run target with five balls to spare, finishing at 156/6. Rachin Ravindra played a crucial innings, scoring 65 off 45 balls, including two fours and four sixes. Captain Gaikwad provided a strong start with a quick 53 off just 26 balls, hitting six fours and three sixes. At 78/1, Chennai seemed to be cruising, but Mumbai’s bowlers fought back, reducing them to 116/5. However, Ravindra held his ground and guided the team to victory.
