Expectations are rising around RC17, the upcoming pan-India film starring Global Star Ram Charan and directed by Sukumar. The project marks their second collaboration after the blockbuster Rangasthalam, creating considerable excitement among fans. However, the makers have not yet officially announced the female lead.According to industry reports, actresses Sara Arjun and Sathvika Veeravalli are being considered for the lead role.
Sara Arjun gained attention through the Dhurandhar series, while Sathvika is a Telugu actress known for Aakasamlo Oka Tara. Reports suggest that Sukumar’s team has shortlisted both actresses and is likely to finalise one of them.
An announcement is expected by the end of November or during the first week of December.The film was recently launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad by Mythri Movie Makers. Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the event and gave the first clap for Ram Charan’s opening shot.
The launch poster, featuring Ram Charan against a peacock-feather backdrop, has also sparked curiosity about the film’s storyline and visual concept.Regular shooting is reportedly scheduled to begin in February 2027. The makers are yet to confirm the cast details and production schedule officially.
