Despite Financial Strain, AP Govt Releases Employee Dues: CM Naidu

Rs. 7,230 crore dues released in 9 months

Previous government left Rs. 20,637 crore pending

Remaining dues to be cleared as per financial feasibility

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced that his government has released Rs. 7,230 crore in pending dues for state government employees. He recalled that Rs. 1,030 crore had been cleared earlier, and now an additional Rs. 6,200 crore has been disbursed.

Addressing the District Collectors’ Conference at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister stated that government employees are an integral part of governance. He criticized the previous administration for burdening employees with unpaid dues amounting to Rs. 20,637 crore. Despite financial difficulties, he assured that his government is committed to settling these dues in phases, depending on economic feasibility.

Naidu urged government employees to actively support and promote government initiatives among the public. He also encouraged them to participate in the P4 program and appealed to their families to contribute to uplifting underprivileged communities.
