Police Seek More Time to File Counter

Allu Arjun Appears Virtually in Court

Next Hearing Scheduled for December 30

TPN , Hyderabad : The Nampally court has postponed the hearing on actor Allu Arjun’s bail petition in the Sandhya Theater stampede case. The hearing, originally scheduled for today, has been deferred to December 30 after the Chikkadapally police requested additional time to file their counter.

Allu Arjun, popularly known as Bunny, appeared for the hearing virtually. He had filed a petition in the Nampally court seeking regular bail following his recent arrest in connection with the stampede incident. While he was initially granted four weeks of interim bail by the High Court, his 14-day remand imposed on December 13 ended today.

The Nampally court has also postponed the broader hearing on the Sandhya Theater stampede case to January 10, during which the remand hearing for Allu Arjun will also take place.

The police are expected to file their counterarguments on the bail petition by Monday, December 30, when the court will reconvene to deliberate on Bunny’s plea.

The Sandhya Theater stampede incident has garnered significant attention, with Allu Arjun’s legal battles becoming a focal point of the case’s developments. Further updates are anticipated in the coming hearings.
