PM Modi shared a video showcasing the beauty of Kutch on social media platform X, inviting people to visit the region and enjoy the ongoing festivities. "Kutch awaits you all! Come, discover the pristine White Rann, the spectacular culture and warm hospitality of Kutch during the ongoing Rann Utsav," he wrote, urging travelers to immerse themselves in this unique celebration.

In a post on LinkedIn, the Prime Minister further emphasized the allure of Kutch, describing it as a "mesmerising land with a vibrant heritage." He invited "dynamic, hard-working professionals and their families" to visit and experience the region’s exceptional blend of culture, history, and natural beauty. He also shared personal reflections from his visit to Kutch, which included a write-up titled ‘Rann Utsav - A Lifetime Experience’.

The White Rann, a vast salt desert that sparkles under the moonlight, is one of the festival’s main attractions, providing a surreal and unforgettable experience. PM Modi highlighted the importance of Kutch’s thriving arts and crafts, as well as the region's reputation for offering exceptional hospitality. "The people of Kutch are warm-hearted and proud of their roots, eager to engage with the world," he added.

Launched in 2005 to tap into Kutch’s tourism potential, Rann Utsav has now become a globally recognized cultural and tourism festival. Over the years, it has grown into a major draw for both domestic and international tourists. The festival is known for its cultural programs, traditional dances, music, handicrafts, and a variety of adventure activities.

The Rann Utsav, which typically runs for four months, offers a unique opportunity to experience the region’s mesmerizing desert landscapes and vibrant traditions. This year, the festival began in December and will continue until February 28, 2025, with the tent city at Rann Utsav remaining open until March 2025.

PM Modi assured visitors that their time spent at Rann Utsav would be a lifetime experience, offering memories of Gujarat's natural beauty, cultural richness, and the legendary warmth of its people.
