Acharya Pramod Krishnam Criticizes Rahul Gandhi, Calls Him More Suited for a Gym Trainer Role
New Delhi, Dec 21: Former Congress leader and spiritual guru Acharya Pramod Krishnam has made controversial remarks about Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the Congress leader is more suited to be a gym trainer than a politician. In a scathing critique of Gandhi, Krishnam claimed that his actions and body language reflect the image of an "anarchist" rather than a mature statesman.
"The time for Bhagwan Shri Kalki’s incarnation is coming close with the rise in atrocities against Hindus," Krishnam said, emphasizing his concerns about the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He condemned the attacks on temples in the neighboring country, describing them as a "height of atrocities against the Hindus."
Asserting that the Puranas foretold the arrival of Bhagwan Kalki Narayan, Krishnam pointed to what he described as auspicious signs, including the ongoing archaeological survey in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, which he believes may reveal significant landmarks related to the Kalki incarnation. "The Puranas have clearly mentioned that Bhagwan Kalki Narayan will be born on the land with 68 pilgrimages, 19 wells with a Shivlingam in the middle," he said, adding that Sambhal had become internationally famous following the construction of Kalki Dham, a religious project he oversees.
Turning his attention to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Krishnam critiqued the young politician’s conduct in Parliament. "Rahul Gandhi appears to be in politics by mistake. To me, he seems more suitable to be a gym trainer," Krishnam remarked, describing Gandhi's body language, statements, and actions as those of an "anarchist, wrestler or a fighter" rather than a mature politician.
Krishnam suggested that Gandhi, after two decades in politics, had failed to mature as a leader and advised him to open a gym instead. "He wants to turn Parliament into a kabaddi arena," Krishnam said, mocking Gandhi’s image and actions in the political sphere.
In a separate statement, Krishnam also criticized Congress leader Priyank Kharge for his inflammatory comments against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Kharge had previously stated that Shah, who allegedly made derogatory remarks about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, had been "bitten by a rabid dog."
"Opposition leaders like Priyank Kharge do not engage in meaningful discourse or discussion. They only criticize PM Modi or HM Shah without understanding their contributions," Krishnam said. He defended Amit Shah's record, particularly his work on abrogating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and combating Maoism, calling him a "capable Home Minister who works for the pride of the country."
These remarks come amid rising tensions within the political landscape, with Acharya Pramod Krishnam’s criticisms of Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders further fueling the political discourse.
