During a press conference held in the Legislative Council, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha made sharp comments against Congress leaders, accusing them of spreading falsehoods regarding the state's financial status. She stated that while the central government reported the state's total debts as Rs. 4 lakh 42 thousand crore in Parliament, CM Revanth Reddy has been falsely claiming it to be Rs. 8 lakh crore.
Kavitha demanded that the Congress party, which allegedly gained power through misinformation, should admit to spreading lies and start telling the truth. She also criticized the Congress government for its alleged failures in providing water resources despite multiple opportunities.
Kalvakuntla Kavitha highlighted that the BRS party will celebrate its silver jubilee on April 27 at Elkathurthi, with a grand meeting modeled after the Mahakumbh Mela. She urged people to participate in the 25th anniversary celebrations of the BRS party on a large scale.
She emphasized that the BRS party has acted as the people's voice in the Legislative Council by using all opportunities to expose the failures of the Congress government. She claimed that the party actively participated in discussions, raised concerns about various issues, and protested daily against the Congress party’s unfulfilled promises.
Additionally, Kavitha alleged that the Chief Minister made inappropriate comments targeting women, which would be remembered as a black mark in the state’s history. She affirmed that the BRS party would continue to fight for the implementation of promises made by the Congress government, including fee reimbursement funds.
