Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has sent a clear message on maintaining unity within the NDA alliance, stressing that all leaders and cadres must strictly follow the coalition agreement. He directed that rebel candidates contesting against official alliance nominees be suspended from their respective parties without delay.
The latest political developments were discussed in detail at a Cabinet meeting held at the state Secretariat.
Addressing the meeting, Naidu said he, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president Madhav had worked hard to complete the seat-sharing process smoothly. He added that the alliance’s unity had already sent a positive message to the public.
Naidu urged voters to support the NDA alliance rather than individual candidates, highlighting the welfare schemes implemented by the coalition government since coming to power. Pawan Kalyan also noted that the collective decisions taken by alliance leaders had received a positive response from the public and party workers.
The Chief Minister assigned clear responsibilities to ministers, directing them to ensure the victory of NDA candidates not only in their own constituencies but also across the districts they oversee.
He said panchayat and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society elections would follow the ZPTC and MPTC polls and asked leaders to begin preparations immediately. Naidu also instructed alliance leaders to resolve internal differences through discussions, warning that violations of party rules would invite strict disciplinary action.
