AP Deputy Speaker and Udi constituency MLA Raghurama Krishnam Raju has announced that a fine of Rs. 1000 will be imposed on individuals caught dumping plastic waste and garbage in crop canals. The decision aims to protect public health and maintain cleanliness in irrigation channels.

Raghurama Krishnam Raju emphasized that the collected fines would be deposited into a dedicated Canal Development Fund and utilized for cleaning and maintaining the canals. He urged residents to cooperate and keep the canals clean, avoiding penalties while contributing to environmental conservation.
