Election authorities have rejected a total of 34 nominations in the Karimnagar and Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituencies. Of these, 20 nominations were rejected in Karimnagar, while 14 were denied in Peddapalli. The scrutiny of nominations filed for various parliamentary constituencies from April 18 to 25 was conducted on Friday. In Karimnagar, out of the 53 candidates who filed nominations, 20 were rejected for various reasons, leaving 33 accepted nominations. Similarly, in Peddapalli, 14 out of the 63 nominations were rejected, with 49 being accepted for further consideration.
