Rashmika Mandanna Attends Best Friend's Sangeet for Just 15 Minutes Due to Work Commitments
Mumbai, Dec 21: Actress Rashmika Mandanna, currently riding high on the success of her latest film Pushpa: The Rule, recently shared a lighthearted yet heartfelt post about attending her best friend’s sangeet ceremony for a mere 15 minutes due to her busy schedule.
The actress took to Instagram, where she posted pictures of her stunning ensemble at the event. Rashmika wore a beautiful three-piece set consisting of a long kurta, dhaka pajama, and dupatta, completing the look with a big maang teeka, jhumkas, and statement rings. She looked radiant in the traditional attire, but it was her candid revelation that caught the attention of her fans.
Rashmika shared the challenge of balancing her professional commitments with personal events, writing, "These are the kind of pieces I truly, truly enjoy wearing... it just felt so right. This was for my bestie @shravyavarma’s sangeet. I travelled for one hour back and forth and could literally only attend it for 15 minutes because of work. But I am so proud of myself for still pushing and making it work."
Despite her brief attendance, Rashmika's dedication to making time for her close friend was evident, and fans were quick to admire her efforts.
Earlier this month, Rashmika had also shared a post celebrating her "heroine moment," reflecting on her journey in the entertainment industry and the effort it takes to achieve perfection. “Just going back in time, I’d always be fascinated seeing models and actors look so perfect... I have—to some extent—achieved it (I think). But it’s mostly about working super-duper hard and having the right people work with you to look a certain way,” she wrote in her post, acknowledging the collaborative efforts behind the scenes.
On the work front, Rashmika has been receiving rave reviews for her role in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which was released on December 5. Directed by Sukumar, the film co-stars Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. The film has been a massive hit, crossing a staggering Rs 1000 crore globally within just a week of its release. Pushpa 2 has also garnered Rs 902 crore at the India box office and became the first Hindi film to surpass Rs 100 crore in its second weekend.
Despite her packed schedule, Rashmika continues to maintain a strong connection with her fans and loved ones, proving that even in the midst of a whirlwind career, personal bonds remain a priority.
