Former MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna has joined the Jana Sena Party, creating fresh political interest in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the local body elections. He joined the party in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at the Jana Sena headquarters in Mangalagiri. Praneeth Pramod from Tirupati also joined the party during the event.
The development comes as the State Election Commission has announced the local body election schedule. At the same time, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Nadendla Manohar, Palla Srinivasa Rao and other alliance leaders are reportedly engaged in discussions over seat-sharing arrangements.
Radha’s entry has attracted attention, particularly in Vijayawada politics, where he has a significant political background. There is speculation that Jana Sena may consider him for the Vijayawada mayoral post. However, no official confirmation has been announced regarding the mayoral candidates. The impact of these developments on alliance politics remains to be seen.
