Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay is reportedly preparing to face the camera again after stepping away from films to concentrate on his political responsibilities. According to reports, Vijay will participate in a special government advertisement directed by renowned filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The campaign is expected to highlight the state government’s development initiatives and welfare schemes.Instead of featuring other actors as brand ambassadors, officials are reportedly considering using Vijay’s popularity and public image to communicate directly with people.
The proposed advertisement is said to be planned on a large scale, with high production values, rich visuals and a cinematic presentation similar to Gautham Menon’s films.Reports suggest that Vijay has allocated two days for the shoot. The project is expected to begin after the ongoing by-election process is completed. If the reports are confirmed, this will be Vijay’s first advertising appearance since assuming political office.
Although Vijay had earlier indicated that he would stay away from acting and focus on public service, his reported participation in the government campaign has generated excitement among his fans and supporters. However, no official confirmation has been issued by the Tamil Nadu government or Vijay’s team regarding the advertisement or its shooting schedule.
