Intense pilitical Power Struggle Over Loan Waivers Unfolds in Telangana

The political power struggle over loan waivers is intensifying between opposition leaders in Telangana. Harish Rao, amidst a showdown with CM Revanth Reddy, announced his readiness to resign if loan waivers aren’t implemented by August 15. He stated this during a press meet in Sangareddy. Harish Rao emphasized that if loan waivers aren’t executed, the Chief Minister should resign, pointing to their responsibilities toward the people. He indicated his willingness to contest elections again if necessary.

Revanth Reddy has challenged whether Harish Rao would resign from his MLA position if loan waivers are not implemented by August 15. He also questioned whether the Chief Minister would resign. Harish Rao countered Revanth Reddy’s challenge during a press meet in Sangareddy, stating that he accepts the challenge. He plans to fulfill all guarantees given on August 15 and then resign from his MLA position, challenging Revanth Reddy in the process.

Revanth Reddy countered by saying that it’s not just about money but also about intent. He argued that Harish Rao should resign if he fails to deliver on promises, citing his past resignation on December 9. He stated that they would implement all guarantees given on August 15 and insisted that if the Congress fails to act, Harish Rao should resign.

Former Minister Harish Rao, along with MLAs from the BJP, provided support to the protests at Ganesh Park. He criticized CM Revanth Reddy’s handling of the situation. Harish Rao made it clear that he’s ready to accept Revanth Reddy’s challenge. He urged the CM to come and face him.
