Dhanush Faces Legal Notice for Rs. 20 Crore Compensation

A prominent production company has served him a legal notice seeking approximately Rs. 20 crore in compensation. The dispute stems from a film project initiated in 2016, for which Dhanush had signed an agreement but the project was never completed. According to the notice, the production house had incurred substantial pre-production costs, including payments to other actors, crew expenses, and arrangements for the shoot. The project was reportedly halted due to script issues and Dhanush committing time to other projects, leaving the film incomplete.

The production company is demanding the compensation as a reimbursement for the financial losses suffered. They have asked Dhanush to respond within a week, warning that failure to do so may result in additional legal action and claims for damages. Currently, neither Dhanush nor his representatives have publicly commented on the matter. Industry observers note that this legal dispute could potentially affect his ongoing or upcoming projects if not resolved promptly.
