The family dispute involving YSRCP leader and former minister Jogi Ramesh has intensified following a car accident involving his daughter-in-law, Meghana, and her father, Krishna. On October 15, a private travel bus reportedly hit their car while they were travelling from Vijayawada to Kodad in Telangana. Suspecting that the incident might have been deliberate, Krishna lodged a complaint with Ibrahimpatnam police on October 16, requesting an investigation into the alleged involvement of Jogi Ramesh and action against the bus driver. According to the supplied report, police initially viewed it as a regular accident, with no evidence of deliberate action.
Earlier, Meghana had accused her husband, Jogi Rajeev, and other family members of dowry harassment, domestic violence and attempted murder. She alleged demands for an additional ₹5 crore, a car and gold. Jogi Ramesh’s family denied the allegations, calling them a political conspiracy. Police are investigating the accident and the earlier complaints.
