J. Shyamala Rao, the Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), visited Undavalli today to extend an invitation to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the upcoming Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavam. Following this, she met with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at the Mangalagiri camp office.
During their meeting, Pawan Kalyan raised concerns regarding the alleged adulteration of ghee used in the preparation of the famous Tirumala Laddu. Shyamala Rao clarified that the issue of adulterated ghee occurred under the previous governing body, detailing the selection process of ghee suppliers and the findings from laboratory tests conducted during that time.
Pawan Kalyan emphasized the need for strict actions against those responsible for allowing the use of adulterated ghee, stating that there should be no compromise on protecting the sentiments of devotees and upholding religious integrity. The discussions reflect a commitment to ensuring the quality and sanctity of offerings at the revered Tirumala temple.
