TPN Correspondent Telangana, Jan 17: In a major security operation in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, 12 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with police forces in the Pujari Kankeru-Maredu Baka forest area. The incident took place along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border, with the ongoing encounter still unfolding.
Police officials recovered a Self Loading Rifle (SLR) and several other weapons from the scene, confirming significant firefights between the forces and Naxalite groups.
